PCB from Green Substrates : a possible path for greener electronics

Bio:
Attila Géczy is a habilitated associate professor of Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Hungary, at the Department of Electronics Technology. His PhD focused on special lead-free reflow soldering issues and the heat transfer related aspects of vapour phase soldering. He worked in numerous automotive electronics R+D projects, and he has been working on more sustainable printed circuit boards since 2010, with biodegradable alternatives. Currently he is a Work Package (WP) leader of a Pathfinder EIC project (Desire4EU), and the manager of the local team. He is also the lead of the „Sustainable Electronics Research Group” at BME and a faculty representative of the BME Committee on Sustainability. He is an IEEE member, member of the IMAPS ELC, and the president of IMAPS Hungary.
