The Centre for Radiofrequencies, Optic and Micro-nanoelectronics in the Alps ( previously IMEP-LaHC ) is a « Unité Mixte de Recherche UMR 5130 » (CNRS / Grenoble INP / UGA / Université Savoie Mont Blanc) of 110 people strongly committed in research activities related to micro and nano-electronics, microphotonics, micro and nano-systems, microwaves and microwave-photonics.
The laboratory is settled over two sites : Grenoble-Minatec (38) and Le Bourget du Lac (73) around 70km apart.

Local, greener technology
The CROMA and G2Elab laboratories in Grenoble are involved upstream in the design of modified Arduino boards, with the aim of increasing the circularity of end-of-life materials. To this end, these boards are prematurely aged and tested.
