IMEP - LAHC (Grenoble INP) and CEA-LETI have organized the 17th edition of the conference INFOS (Insulating Films On Semiconductors) that took place at Minatec, from the 21st to the 24th of June 2011. It is the major meeting in the field of science and technology of insulating thin-films on semiconductors and related interfaces, which brought together in Grenoble specialists in micro-nano-electronics from all over the world.
75 researchers and PhD students attended the tutorials organized on June 21st, certainly motivated by the high quality lectures given by world-class specialists in the field.
The exceptional contribution of Dr. Kelin Kuhn from Intel as a keynote speaker, allowed participants to benefit from a wide angle view of micro and nano electronics evolution, including prospective solutions for tomorrow's technology. The final programme included 15 invited presentations and 114 selected contributions given by experts coming from all the continents.
This edition was an undeniable success, with a record number of participants of 170.
