My thesis in 180 SECONDS

Anthony Biard has been selected for the academic final to be held in Grenoble on March 18, 2025. Congratulations to CROMA PhD student Anthony Biard, winner of the USMB preselection for the “My Thesis in 180 seconds” competition.

Following the presentations by the five doctoral students in the running, Anthony Biard was chosen by the local pre-selection jury to represent Université Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) at the Grenoble Academy final of the “My thesis in 180 seconds" competition on March 18.

This scientific popularization and eloquence competition honors doctoral students by asking volunteer candidates to present their thesis topic in just 3 minutes!

For this 2025 edition, Anthony BIARD (2nd year PhD student) has accepted the challenge of presenting his thesis topic.  It focuses on the development of a non-invasive sensor to measure well-being hormones such as dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin, as well as cortisol. The goal is to design a portable and reliable device. His thesis topic is entitled:

                            “Device and methods for measuring and visualizing people's well-being”
