Radiofrequency PCB prototyping

A rapid printed circuit board prototyping service is available at the laboratory. The prototyping process is based on a complete LPKF solution consisting of the following equipments :
  • A software suite to generate all processing steps and to control the plotter
  • A circuit board plotter for mechanical drilling and milling
  • An metallization machine for copper electroplating
  • Hydraulic multipress machine for hot lamination

It is possible to meet the requests of PCB production in small quantities, both for standard low frequency and high frequency applications (with specific substrates).

The prototyping system can provide:
  • Single or double-sided RF circuits, A4 size, production of fine structures as small as 100 µm (insulation and track width)
  • Through-holes copper plating (diameter down to 0.2mm)
  • Laminated multilayer circuits (up to 6 layers)
